NORTH DEVON GROUPS

South Molton Recycle Ltd.

What we do? - SMR operate kerbside recycling collection services for all households in Torridge, South Molton Reycling Centre at Macklins Quarry, the collection and resale of reusable furniture and household items, and trade waste recycling collections across North devon and Torridge. We service all the District rural Recycling Pavillions. The Reuse and repair shop sells a comprehensive range of household items. Reuse/furniture collections are undertaken on request.  Macklins Quarry accepts all waste and recyclable materials. About 7,000 tons of materials are sent for  recycling every year from our operations.

Who we are? - South Molton Recycle started its operations in 1985 with the name Creation Restoration, with the simple objective of creating value from waste and by so doing helping the needy. Further opportunities arrived in 1990 when Devon became Recycling County and various initiatives were started by the project, which changed its name to South Molton Recycle.

Our Phoenix Charity reuse shop and repair centre (mainly electrical) now offer for sale virtually anything we can divert from the waste stream.
