Refurnish ( formerly Devon Furniture Forum )
The appliance Refurbishment Centre and South Hams Refurnish shop are located in warehouse premises at Bittaford near Ivybridge. Appliances and other electrical items are tested and refurbished here and redistributed through DFF shops to people on low incomes.

Refurnish provides low cost furniture, appliances, and household items. People on low income receive discounts. Refurnish provides employment, training, skills and volunteer development programmes to help people back into work.

It acts as a consultative body to other agencies in the field; researches new ideas and legislation governing the recycling and re-use of furniture and household appliances and encourages the development of partnerships with local statutory and voluntary organisations and with the public sector. Devon Furniture Forum was set up in 2000-01 to provide a support, advocacy and networking service to the furniture, electrical and white goods re-use organisations within the region, but has now grown to run its own network of reuse shops.
